oh dearie!
i think i haven't written for about 54 months now. So much has happened since. i have finally (FINALLY!) turned 39. my 2 kids are entering high school this year, my fourth husband is overseas, and i have started that bakery that i always talked about....the one with the mini-pitas and you can drive thru and buy them. I really miss my husband, so much that i started seeing this younger guy at Barca on Mondays. He buys me sushi and we talk about our parents and carpal tunnel syndrome. He really seems to relate to my problems with the kids. i try and relate to him, but he is only 24, so tiny and young. He is tiny too, like 4'9". But he speaks german and wants to take a math class. i think he should start a livejournal so we can put our affair online. I feel so bad going out in public with a date when i know i have a husband, but it is so fun to put on makeup. i am really addicted.

he is starting a knitting class on wednesday mornings at his apartment. he promises to have the class listen to jungle and play with kittens. I think this will be my new support group. Maybe i can even learn to give up my other addiction, gnocci.

wow, this feels so good to get all these things out. i think i will write again soon. peas.

Jaundis
Petruse
Rottepe
Fhuzel

Would you ever buy a used bed? i am tempted... but i would have to ask the owner about their sexual history first. myfuton is getting smoosh marks in it and new beds are expensive.

miss you, love you
Ich hatte meine deutsch exam diese morgan und die exam war gut. Aber, du weist, ich spreche deutsch nicht gut.

anyway...

aleks just told me that fairies like honey and if you put a little cup of honey next to your garden gnomes and red and white spotted mushrooms. There is supposedly a cool store down in pioneer square where all your garden gnome thirsts can be quenched. I work at a newspaper that i used to have a, howyousay, bigger job at. but now it is stress freeeeeeeee! i type in numbers all day long. ten key is my best friend. especially when it relates to all the 100s of accounts that no longer exist because they had the last three letters of their name be "com" weird huh?

there is a lot i'm glad i've learned here at the newspaper. for instance pantone numbers. how many of you can look outside and name the pantone numbers of the trees, the grass, the sky? i sure as hell can't but at least i know it can be done. at least i have something to strive for.

another thing that is great to know is Baseview. it is the best ad program in the world, if you count having to write a final paper in permanent marker on the first try without white out a fun task. does that make any sense? it shouldn't.

tonight is pauliepartypaulieparty for paintingpaulie and his papapoopieprints with prechingpoatnecks and peruvianpeanuts placing peas and putting peacocks perfectly poonie woonie.

i had a water fight my the neighbor girls in the duplex and now they are my best friends. they now feel comfortable to come over and ask me questions like, "do you smoke? where do you eat if you don't have a dining room table? have you ever drank alcohol before?" it won't be long till they get to all their beastiality sex questions: "What are all those grunting and screaming noises from?" but before that, i will probably have to take them to "Scary Movie 2" because "you're 18 and we aren't and so we can't buy the tickets." aww, man....

Happy Aleks-is-signing-up-on-live-journal day!! yea!!

mr scruff is a nice fellow
i am the coolest with my double posts.

if you look in the most recent edition of adbusters, be sure to check out the little blurb about the reverse advertising nike did with their "100% SLAVE LABOUR" campaign. it is just incredible. i actually saw the ad before i read the story and thought that it was a story about people manipulating ads...buuuuut, no!! its real!

whatever side you are on, i really do suggest having a 20 minute convo with someone (anyone!) about how you feel about this. it feels quite good. and if this leads to a conversation that includes globalization, communism, abortion, the peace corps, bush, eastern europe, world war II, family values, the essence of cultures, mom and pop shops, h & m, christopher columbus, howard zinn, pot, and a college degree, then, by golly, you've surely got it.

these coversations don't come often, but when they flow like koolaid from a three year old (naturally), you consider yourself lucky. i do.

take time to smell the roses
i met a women named reesa today on the way home who has been trying to get rid of concrete for weeks now. a huge free concrete sign has been hung in front of her home, at which i've laughed at several times and made my preposterous comments like, "Hey anyone want some free concrete?" (so funny i am!) most of the bigger chunks are actually gone now and she was putting the smaller chunks in boxes because she thought people would be willing to take them this way. i like this woman!

my roomatey jill built the coolest dining room table out of househole items and some rad bootay cushions. you can now dine sitting style. i am making ravioli and spinach tonight, but if you want to join me for deenner soon and relax at the coolest table in seattle, you should let me know.

gosh, i really thought about a lot of things to write when i was walking my 35 blocks home (no didi, it did not take 20 minutes like your "ideal" mind thought it would), but now nini is here making bruschetta and i want to play with him instead.

upper deckers and more!
wow!

After a rousing round of deutsch this morning, i stopped in to give paul a hug. well, he had other plans. paul chained me to his 7'6" bicycle seat and dragged me down the ave to visit joe, king of bostonsteamers. we arrived in front of buffalo exchange, wondering where exactly joe and his covert-op company was.

right as we were about to go into buff ex and have paul try on these cute 3/4 pants with faces all over them, something arose from the manhole cover right in front of us. after the steam subsided, we realized who we were dealing with: JOE! "Grab hold of my cape!" said Joe, flaunting his muscles. I was a bit taken aback, but Paul reassured me, "Its cool, Didi, Joe takes me on cape rides all the time."

The take-off was a bit bumpy, probably because paul insisted on taking his bike up with him, but nothing with too much for Capt M:BANG (did i mention Joe told us his new name was Capt M:BANG?). "My new name is Capt M:BANG," said Capt M:BANG. Paul was starry eyed, "My hero!" Capt M:BANG patted our shoulders and asked, "Does A-Pizza Mart sound alright? My treat..." we were captivated as Capt M:BANG flew foot by foot, yard by yard, through the air. he landed two feet short of the 73, which catipulted our adrenaline when the driver lovingly reminded us, " GET THE F*** OUTTA THE W*Y OR YOU'LL BE K*LL*D, G*D DA**IT!!"

Lunch was even more insane and Capt M:BANG loaded us up with sixteen pizzas to take back to Manhole land.

A slice is nice, but two in the pink and one in the stink is even better. thanks, boys, for the best experience of my life!

me = profound
I am reading other peoples journals and thinking that i was trying to be a bit too profound with my first journal entry. ha ha! i should of said something like, "Hey, i'm new here so you should email me and comment and schtuff." and you wouldah been like "awww...she's new."
my windows are open and all i can smell is barbeque and i am tempted to microwave my leftovers from mexican last night and spoil my appetite before the burning man potluck i am to attend in 30 minutes. maybe i should just get off my lazy ass and go buy some potluck food. i could have made something, but instead i signed up for this thing!!

and now i have been TRULY profound. kisses!
6:10 pm
7:30 dreams
the dreams that are produced when you go to bed at 730. like my roomate died, but i could still see her, even though she was transparent. she could even talk to all her friends, and notified us that she could read her thoughts. she asked me if she could still sleep in the house, but under my bed. I remember being in bed and wondering why she had to sleep under my bed, thinking she was wierd, and freaking out because she probably just read my thoughts....
...i think i would go crazy knowing that someone knew all my thoughts...probably because a lot of them aren't the nicest. my cover would be blown!

i am now going back to my regular bedtime of 2am.
